Event Format

The event will be held in two phases :

PHASE 1

1. Submission of abstract and full paper - Send your abstracts to: excelpaperpresentation.mec@gmail.com latest by 17 September 2011
2. Any one of the mentioned Topics can be used.
3. After the papers evaluation, the best 5 papers in each topic will be selected
4. Selected papers result will be published on 19 September 2011. Only selected students will be informed.

PHASE 2

1. The paper submitted will have to be presented during the event.
2. Three hard copies of the Report is to be submitted before presentation.
3.Time allowed for presentation is 15 minutes (10 min. for presentation + 5 min. for question and answer session).
4. The participants will have to present their paper in Microsoft PowerPoint 2003/2007 compulsorily.
5.The participants will not be permitted to change the topic specified in the registration form under any circumstance.
6. Shortlisted students can bring their paper presentation PPT either on USB / CD or they can mail it to: excelpaperpresentation.mec@gmail.com
7.Violation of any rule can result in rejection of paper.
8.The organizers reserve the right to change/update the rules of the contest at any point of time and will do their best to inform the participants of the same. However, it is ultimately the responsibility of the teams to keep themselves updated.

The papers will be judged on the following parameters :
1) Originality
2) Simplicity
3) Objectives
4) Review of Literature
5) Methodology
6) Findings and Analysis
7) Conclusions
8) Implication/Application/Limitations
